Bela Lugosi stars as a Haitian witch doctor who turns a beautiful young woman into a zombie in this supernatural horror thriller. Issued for the film's 1938 re-release, this group of four lobby cards is unrestored and features Lugosi in three of the cards. These cards vary slightly in condition and may show a corner chip and/or corner creases. One card, showing Lugosi on the left, has a lower right corner that separated and is stabilized with paper mending tape on the back, with small creases above this chip. The images on these cards are outstanding, and the grade shown is an average.

"White Zombie" is a pre-Code horror film, independently produced by Edward Halperin and directed by Victor Halperin. The story follows a young woman turned into a zombie by a sinister voodoo master. Bela Lugosi stars as the master, "Murder" Legendre, while Madge Bellamy plays his victim. "White Zombie" is widely regarded as the first feature-length zombie film, followed by a loose sequel, "Revolt of the Zombies" (1936). Over the decades, it has gained a cult following, with modern critics praising its eerie atmosphere and likening it to the slow-burn horror films of 1940s Val Lewton productions.
