A werewolf paint test from the 2014 horror comedy What We Do in the Shadows. In the film, a human documentary crew follows a trio of vampires dealing with the everyday trials of modern day life such as roommate squabbles, dealing with technology and struggling with their social lives. Toward the end of the film, the band of vampires run into a pack of werewolves in the forest.
This paint test was created early in production as a concept for how the werewolves would look in the film. The piece is made up of appliances applied to a polyfoam bust which has been painted with detail. Hair is applied across the chest, face and head with glue. A set of resin wolf teeth have also been inserted into the mouth.
This test bust shows some signs of wear from storage but is in overall great condition.
