Ozymandias' (Matthew William Goode) Prototype Mask and Laithe from Zack Snyder’s 2009 superhero epic Watchman. The film is based on the best selling graphic novel and follows the lives of a group of regretful vigilante superheroes.
The mask is produced from urethane and is painted with a metallic purple color. Though it is nearly identical in details to the one that appears on-screen, this mask is likely a prototype design as it has points which extend further on the side of the face.
The laithe is also produced from urethane and is finished with a gold paint job in keeping with Ozymandias' gilded appearance. Worn around the head, this laithe features cutouts for where it rests on the ears.
Both pieces are presented on a stand with a flocked head. The mask is affixed to the flocked head with double-sided tape. Each piece shows some signs of wear from use, such as slight blemishes to the paint, but both remain in overall good condition.
