An original Nite Owl Test Paint Cowl from Zack Snyder’s 2009 superhero epic, Watchman. The film, based on the best selling graphic novel, follows the lives of five unlikely superheroes in a world on the brink of nuclear destruction. This production made cowl was made for the character Nite Owl (Patrick Wilson). Made from foam latex, this one piece cowl was created during pre-production and rests on a biscuit foam bust, where it has been test painted a dark bronze color. This unique piece represents a key stage in the development of the Nite Owls final costume, and while it features minor wear from production use, it remains in overall very good production made condition.
