A crashed alien tripod ship model miniature from Steven Spielberg's War of the Worlds. Ray Ferrier (Tom Cruise), struggled to protect his children as he escorted them to Boston amidst a relentless alien invasion in their tripod ships. An alien tripod ship crashed after it was shot down by army forces when Ray and his daughter Rachel (Dakota Fanning) arrived in Boston.

This lot consists of a tripod ship model miniature made of cast resin, fiberglass, and biscuit foam sections. The underside of the ship features alien language carved into the exterior and a strand of alien tentacle protruding from the ship's opening. The ship is mounted on a wooden base and is intentionally distressed by production. It exhibits glue residue, cracking fiberglass, and chipped foam. Dimensions: 36.5" x 26" x 14.25" (92.75 cm x 66 cm x 36.25 cm)
