A full-size George the Hofmeister Bear outfit. This custom-made bear outfit was used for the British television adverts seen in the 80’s and early 90’s for Hofmeister Beer.

The costume consists of a mechanical head which would have controlled the eye movements and the mouth moving up and down, furry hands and feet, and various patches of fur that would have been used to cover the parts of his body that were not concealed by his clothes. The clothes are not included. There are wires and electrical components within the head, owing to its mechanical nature. The paint on the nose is flaking and the fur has thinned in places, but otherwise the outfit remains in good condition.

Materials:Man-Made Woven Fibres, Metal.
