Jim Malone's (Sean Connery) jacket from Brian De Palma's The Untouchables. Malone wore his jacket when he visited Eliot Ness (Kevin Costner) at the Bureau of Prohibition and took him to a church where he shared with him the best tactics he could think of to take down Al Capone's (Robert De Niro) illegal alcohol ring in Chicago. Malone later wore his jacket as he and Ness started to recruit other like-minded men to join their mission.

The Untouchables won 11 awards and were nominated for 18. Of the 11 awards, Sean Connery won a total four awards for Best Actor in a Supporting Role including an Oscar Award®, a Golden Globe Award®, KCFCC Award®, NBR Award® and an ALFS Award® for Actor of the Year in which he tied with Gary Oldman in Stephen Frears' Prick Up Your Ears. Connery was also nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in the BAFTA Awards®, LAFCA Awards®, and NYFCC Awards®.

This lot consists of a brown polyester corduroy, herringbone pattern jacket with carved "woven" wooden buttons. The interior lining of the jacket is marked "PROP" along the collar. This lot exhibits a large hole in the jacket's middle back lining and separating material at the collar.
