A vintage Magnasync Moviola from an unknown production. Tippett Studio. Moviolas were used by editors to view film while editing.
This Moviola is made of metal, painted seafoam green, mounted on wheels for easy movement, features picture and sound heads and was designed with a speaker and bulb operated film viewing screen. The machine is operated by using several dials, switches and pedals to control the movement of sound and film reels. The item plugs into a standard 120-volt wall outlet although the functionality of the piece has not been tested.
The Moviola shows some signs of wear from production use and age, but it remains in good overall condition.
