A foley box from an unknown production. A foley artist is a post production sound effects artist that creates the audio experience for a film through the use of practical applications. The foley box is a square wooden box equipped with numerous basic effects. This particular box features two different doorbell sounds, an assortment of varying buzzers and two high pitched whistles that are all operated with red buttons at the top. The inside of the box can be opened with a door located on the side that reveals all of the wiring and devices, some of which are powered by a large 6V battery. Both of the narrow sides of the box have two sound holes, and a brown leather carrying strap is attached to a hook located between each set of sound holes.
This item features some wear due to production use and has an inoperable low buzzer, but remains in otherwise fair used condition.
