Torah scraps and a tallit from David S. Goyer’s 2009 supernatural horror film The Unborn.

Plagued by nightmares and visitations from tortured ghosts, Casey Beldon (Odette Yustman) turned to Rabbi Joseph Sendak (Gary Oldman), who discovered an evil spirit dating back to Nazi Germany. A dog with an upside down head shredded a Torah inside Sendek’s synagogue.

There are a total of 17 Torah pages and scraps of various sizes. They come within a blue velvet tallit bag which has Hebrew script embroidered in white along its length, a side pouch, and a stitched label reading “Emanuel”. The lot also includes a single black feather.

The Torah scraps are intentionally distressed for production use and the lot is in excellent condition.
