A Frankenstein's Monster forehead and face appliances from a Twix candy commercial entitled "Monster". This commercial sought to put a new spin on the classic Universal horror film by recreating Boris Karloff's creature interacting with a young girl on the banks of a lake.
The forehead is made from biscuit foam, is painted blue, and has various markings on it from production. The stitches on the top of the forehead are painted silver. The appliances are made of foam latex that and consist of various pieces including scars, noses, lip, and chin pieces. Some appliances rest on vacuformed plastic pieces. Numerous unpainted slip latex ears are also included. Two sets of ears are painted with one of the sets featuring the famous bolts that come from the monster’s neck. This lot shows some wear but is in overall good condition. Dimensions (forehead): 9" x 6.5" x 9" (23 cm x 17 cm x 23 cm)
