A light-up "Dorothy" sensor ball from Jan de Bont's Twister. Storm chasers Bill (Bill Paxton) and Jo Harding (Helen Hunt) used an invention named "Dorothy," which was filled with sensor balls to gather insights on tornadoes. The sensors in Dorothy were key in the climactic sequence as they were confirmed to be effective at stopping deadly twisters.

This ball comprises a plastic shell with one transparent half, the other painted chrome to appear metallic. The halves are held together by two metal screws. The interior contains a circuit board, an LED bulb, a battery and a rubber-coated wire, which protrudes from a small hole in the clear half. The ball exhibits chipped paint and discolouration to the metal and interior pieces. Dimensions: 5 cm x 5 cm x 5 cm (2" x 2" x 2")
