Bill Harding’s (Bill Paxton) Costume from the 1996 Jan de Bont film, Twister. In the film, Bill and Jo Harding (Helen Hunt), advanced storm chasers on the brink of divorce, must join together to launch an advanced weather alert system by putting themselves in the cross-hairs of extremely violent tornadoes.
Bill Paxton wears this outfit in the very beginning of the film when he reunites with his ex-wife, Jo. The jacket is made by Donna Karan, and features a tan and brown box pattern with a two button design. There are two pockets on the front of the jacket, along the waist, as well as a chest pocket on the left, which is stitched shut. Inside there is a brown lining along the body, matched with a pinstripe lining inside the sleeves. The long sleeve dress shirt is made by Anto, and has pearl colored buttons, and a left front chest pocket. Inside the collar of the shirt, underneath the designer tag, is a custom printed tag that reads “BP 1995.” The jeans are made by Lee, and come in a pepper stonewash color.
All sizing tags have been removed from these pieces, however they remain in very good production worn condition.
