Rustin Cohle's (Matthew McConaughey) sketchbook and twig sculpture from the production of Nic Pizzolatto's True Detective. In Season 1, Cohle carried his notebook with him while he and Detective Marty Hart (Woody Harrelson) investigated a series of ritualistic murders involving the display of twig sculptures, earning Cohle the nickname "The Tax Man."

Created for production but ultimately unseen in the final cut, this lot consists of a 106-page canvas-covered sketchbook and a wooden twig sculpture with cloth ribbons and a plastic Barbie doll covered in mud by production. Seven of the pages in the sketchbook feature hand-drawn illustrations and notes, while the back cover is marked "Forstalls," likely for the production artist responsible. The sculpture exhibits glue residue from production. Dimensions: (largest) 7.5" x 5.5" x 12.75" (19 cm x 14 cm x 32.5 cm)
