Frank Louis Beechum's (Isaiah Washington) screen-matched, hand-illustrated drawing from Gail Beechum (Penny Bae Bridges) with Gail's crayons and partial drawings from Clint Eastwood's True Crime. Gail gave her father Frank a crayon drawing she made at San Quentin to comfort him before his execution for a crime he did not commit. Specific strokes of crayon in the completed drawing screen-matched to when Gail left the prison, as well as to when journalist Steve Everett (Eastwood) visited Frank there before his execution.

This lot originates from a crew member. It consists of one drawing of an idyllic sun hanging over a picket fence labeled "Gail"; four additional unsigned drawings of the same sun; and eight RoseArt crayons inside their original cardboard box. The drawings are rendered in crayon on notebook paper to represent different stages in Gail's illustration process while at San Quentin. The crayon box is opened with the crayons used, and the drawings exhibit creasing and tearing at their ends from being removed from a notebook. Dimensions: (each) 12" x 9" (30.5 cm x 23 cm)
