A Greek SFX War Hammer from Wolfgang Petersen’s 2004 adaptation of Homer’s great epic Troy.

After falling for the beautiful Helen (Diane Kruger), Trojan prince Paris (Orlando Bloom) smuggles her aboard the ship of his brother, Hector (Eric Bana) to take her to Troy. Seeking revenge, the Greek armies led by Agamemnon (Brian Cox) and the legendary warrior Achilles (Brad Pitt) set sail for Troy, where one of history’s greatest wars will be waged.

The hammer is made of soft rubber for safety purposes and has been painted brown to look like wood, which has then been distressed to give it an aged look (the paint has flaked off in places due to use on set). It would have had a fake blood pack attached to one end which would have exploded when someone was hit with it and it still has the blood stains to prove it.

The hammer has some wear from production use and age, including the flaking paint work and cracks in the rubber. Overall it remains in a fair production used condition.
