Tugg Speedman's (Ben Stiller) Bloody Fatigues from the 2008 action comedy, Tropic Thunder. In the film, a rag-tag group of actors are dropped into the jungles of the Golden Triangle to shoot a movie guerrilla style. Unfortunately for them, the locals are a heroin-manufacturing gang known as 'Flaming Dragon' and they aren't shooting blanks. This costume comes from the scene in which Tugg is captured by Flaming Dragon and is interrogated by Byong (Reggie Lee).
Included in this wardrobe set is Tugg's army t-shirt, pants, headband, arm band, and a bandage cloth for his hand. The olive green t-shirt is made from 100% cotton and has been distressed by production with stage blood and numerous tears from Tugg's violent encounter with a panda bear. Similarly colored, the cargo pants include a zipper fly with a button closure and have been heavily distressed to appear bloody and torn, particularly around the legs which have been shredded into strips. Inside the pants is a manufacturer tag indicating that this garment is made from 100% cotton and intended for tropical wear. Written on the inside of the waist using black ink is an inscription that reads: 'BS 7/13/07 34.'
Also included are a headband made from a thin strip of leather, a leather arm band with 'ShowWest Star of the Year' printed on it, and a makeshift bandage for Tugg's hand that was created using a strip of his shirt. This costume includes tags from production indicating that it was worn on 'Day 4,' as change '14B' during scene '67.' The shirt includes a manufacturer tag noting that it is a size small, while the cargo pants have '34' written near the waist.
Despite the intentional production distressing from Tugg's imprisonment and battle with a panda, this costume remains in good worn condition.
