A Tugg Speedman Best Actor Envelope made for the the 2008 Ben Stiller comedy, Tropic Thunder. In the film, a rag-tag group of actors are dropped into the jungles of the Golden Triangle to shoot a movie guerrilla style. Unfortunately for them, the locals are a heroin-manufacturing gang known as 'Flaming Dragon' and they aren't shooting blanks.
This envelope was made for the final scene of the film, in which Kirk Lazarus (Robert Downey Jr.) announces Speedman (Ben Stiller) as the Oscar winner for best actor. This particular card features Tugg's name written in gold lettering above the alternate film title "Playing Hookie," with the description below reading "The true story behind the fake story of a man who pretended to be a hero, and the actor who played him." The card has been printed on cardstock and comes with a matching envelope. The envelope features "Best Actor" printed on the front in gold colored cursive lettering, with a red sticker seal on the back flap.
This envelope measures approximately 7.5" x 5.5" (19cm x 14cm) and features minor wear from production use, particularly where the sticker was pealed back, however it remains in good production made condition.
