A Simple Jack VHS Case from Ben Stiller's 2007 action comedy, Tropic Thunder. In the film, a rag-tag group of actors are dropped into the jungles of the Golden Triangle to shoot a movie guerrilla style. Unfortunately for them, the locals are a heroin-manufacturing gang known as 'Flaming Dragon' and they aren't shooting blanks. This item was made for the scene in which Flaming Dragon discovers that their hostage, actor Tugg Speedman (Ben Stiller), starred in their favorite (and only) movie. 'Simple Jack' is Tugg's highly controversial film where he portrays a mentally handicapped farm boy who can talk to animals.
This item features a high quality sticker placed around the perimeter of the VHS box. The front cover show's Jack standing next to a horse, with the films title at the top and a crude tagline below. The back cover offers a brief synopsis of the film and includes screenshots from the fictional film.
This piece features minor wear from production use with the cardboard slightly misshapen, however it remains in otherwise good condition condition.
