Les Grossman's (Tom Cruise) MTV Movie Awards Necklace worn during the character’s performance at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. As seen in Ben Stiller’s 2008 war movie comedy, Tropic Thunder, Grossman is one of Hollywood’s most powerful and short-tempered producers until the right beat drops. A fan favorite, Cruise reprised the role two years after the film to dance with Jennifer Lopez during the ceremony.
The necklace includes a dollar sign pendant which is made from metal that is gold in color. The pendant features numerous faux diamonds embedded into the facing, and has a braided outline along the perimeter. The backside has larger faux diamonds pasted to the flat surface with hard edges that do not include the braided perimeter. Attached to the top of the pendant is a metal chain that is gold in color. The chain does not include a locking clasp as it had to be removed quickly by actor Tom Cruise during his performance.
This item measures approximately 4.5” x 3.5” (11cm x 9cm) and is in good condition.
