A Black Guard's ensemble assembled from production-made components from Joseph Kosinski's Tron: Legacy and dressed on a custom display. Black Guards - artificial intelligence program and grid overlord Clu's (Jeff Bridges) personal soldiers within Tron - wore standard-issue black suits with orange highlights throughout the film. The Black Guard were skilled in a variety of weaponry, including identity discs and batons.
This display consists of chest and back armor with a molded-in identity disc port; shoulder and arm armor; and hip and thigh armor, all of which were cast from dense foam rubber for production but ultimately unseen in the final cut. Also included is an original pair of boots from the production which was ultimately unseen onscreen.
Reflective yellow tape of a similar style to the EL strip material used on the original production light-up suits was added, as are the staff, helmet, and gloves, all of which are replicas added to complete the ensemble for display. The ensemble comes dressed on a fiberglass mannequin with a custom base. Some of the armor exhibits scuffing and scratching to the foam rubber.
