An MCP-loyal program helmet from Steven Lisberger's Tron. User-built electronic beings known as programs, including those loyal to the villainous Master Control Program (MCP), wore circuitry-lined helmets and bodysuits throughout the film.

One of the first films to feature entirely computer-animated sequences, Tron achieved its effects using matte-photography techniques and backlit animation. The actors were shot in black-and-white on a black background, then printed on large, high-contrast film and hand-colored using rotoscoping.

This white vacuum-formed plastic was repurposed from a heavyweight hockey helmet by production, applied with intricate circuit-board decals made from black tape, and lined with foam. This helmet exhibits discoloration, lifted adhesive, and loose screws. Dimensions: 9" x 9" x 8" (23 cm x 23 cm x 20.5 cm)
