A pair of glasses used in the production of the Michael Bay reboot Transformers. Drawn to Earth to reclaim a source of great power, the Autobots and Decepticons do battle in modern-day America, with young schoolkids Sam Witwicky (Shia Labeouf) and Mikaela Banes (Megan Fox) caught in the firing line.
This pair of glasses belonged to the late, great Captain Archibald Witwicky (W. Morgan Sheppard), a 19th century explorer who was the discoverer of the Megatron in the Arctic circle. His glasses, imprinted with the location of the Cosmic Cube, are later put on eBay by Sam, starting a chain of events that puts the entire world in jeopardy.

This custom-made pair of spectacles features a pair of smashed acrylic lenses within a metal frame and folding metal arms running down the sides. Paint and chips have been applied to the lenses to replicate the look of the imprinting performed by Megatron. The frame is finished to replicate the look of worn antique brass. A distressed metal case is also included.

Distressed for use on the production, the glasses remain in very good condition and come presented in a stunning bespoke framed display featuring the film’s title artwork, stills from the film and an opening front panel allowing direct access to the piece.
