Louis Winthorpe III's (Dan Aykroyd) Santa costume from John Landis' Trading Places. Winthorpe wore his Santa costume while at his lowest point after his wrongful firing and the subsequent unravelling of his life, including when he showed up at his former firm's Christmas party to steal food and plant drugs in Billy Ray Valentine's (Eddie Murphy) desk.

This lot consists of a red velveteen jacket with a wool collar, cuffs, and pocket coverings as well as a metal-snap closure hidden beneath decorative buttons; and a matching pair of trousers with a tied waistband. The costume exhibits ripping and staining, primarily on the inside.
