A light-up Tommy Tank from Barry Levinson's Toys. When Leslie Zevo (Robin Williams) and his friends broke into the Zevo Toys factory, Lieutenant General Leland Zevo (Sir Michael Gambon) ordered a fleet of toy-like war machines known as Tommy Tanks to fend off his eccentric nephew.
This lot originates from Planet Hollywood. It consists of a resin shell inset with five plastic wheels, lined with tracks on both sides, and hand-marked "#19" and "69" on the interior. The tank is mounted on top with a helmeted, face-shaped turret, affixed with guns on each corner and dual cardboard rockets, and applied with a Zevo Toys logo decal on both sides. The turret's "eyes" and "nose" are inset with LEDs designed to illuminate via an electronics kit concealed in the body. Following production, the lot underwent sympathetic restoration to return functionality to these electronics. The tank shows evidence of wear consistent with on-set use, handling, and age.
