A boy-on-a-tricycle toy from Barry Levinson's Toys. The boy-on-a-tricycle were among the many toys that Leslie Zevo (Robin Williams) amassed to form his army and defeat Lieutenant General Leland Zevo's (Sir Michael Gambon) deadly Tommy Tanks. The film received two Academy Award® nominations at the 65th Academy Awards, for Best Art Direction and Best Costume Design.
This lot originates from Planet Hollywood. It consists of a metal and plastic toy of a boy riding a tricycle, with both the boy and his tricycle painted in bright colors. The tricycle is marked "3" on the inside. The lot shows evidence of intentional production distressing together with wear consistent with on-set use, handling, and age; including a section of the boy's neck being broken, missing handlebars on the tricycle, and the wind-up key being broken off, rendering any mechanical functionality unknown.
