A Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise) and Nick “Goose” Bradshaw (Anthony Edwards) ejection model miniature from Tony Scott’s action drama Top Gun. Radar Intercept Officer Goose died while ejecting during a dogfight with a Russian jet, though his partner, renegade pilot Maverick, survived. Model miniatures were affixed to the canopies of the jet miniatures to simulate ejection.

This resin miniature comes with a striped helmet labeled “Mitch” (likely as a humorous nod to Top Gun model maker Mitchell Romanauski), a green launch suit with a VF-1 Eagle patch, an oxygen mask, and an ejector seat. The design details — such as “Mitch” rather than “Goose VF-1” being marked on the helmet, miscolouring of the stripes, and the blurred eagle insignia on the sides — are not accurate to either characters’ life-size ensemble. Miniature artists often took artistic liberties with figures not intended to be seen closely on camera. This model exhibits glue residue on the seat.
