Pete "Maverick" Mitchell's (Tom Cruise) uniform nameplate from the production of Tony Scott's Top Gun. Navy pilot Mitchell wore his nameplate on his signature white dress uniform throughout his time at the Naval Air Station Miramar's elite "Top Gun" fighter program, including when he first met instructor "Charlie" Blackwood (Kelly McGillis) at a local bar.

This metallized plastic nameplate was created by production but differs slightly from the version seen in the final cut, with "Pete Mitchell Topgun 1" rather than "Peter Mitchell" engraved beside a hand-painted emblem of the Fighter Weapons School on front. The reverse is hand-marked "#1" on tape and two pins are affixed for pinning the plate to Maverick's uniform. The paint on the front and ink on the back exhibit fading from age.
