Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) hero Mjolnir hammer from Alan Taylor's superhero sequel Thor: The Dark World. Given to Thor by his father, Odin (Anthony Hopkins), Mjolnir was the hero's signature weapon throughout the film as he fought alongside his devious brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) against the Dark Elves, led by Malekith (Christopher Eccleston). Mjolnir is an iconic weapon within the MCU and is at Thor's side for much of the series.

The original hero hammers were made of solid, heavier metal, but lighter hero versions like this one were crafted for Hemsworth's comfort. The design of Mjolnir subtly changed between the first two Thor films, with the pommel gaining an intricate metal cap.

This hero version is made of a fiberglass head with embedded aluminum powder infused with cold cast gel coat that was polished to reveal a true metallic finish. The handle features hand-cast pewter details. The metal powder and cast metal components create a more realistic build than the simpler stunt props. The head is filled with polyurethane biscuit foam. The hammer is decorated with Nordic designs and runes, and is intentionally distressed with a weathered patina. A short brown leather wrist loop is attached to the end of the handle and the handle has details hand-cast in pewter.
