Thomas the Tank Engine model components from the British children's television series Thomas & Friends.

This Perspex model was created for the production and used during the first two series. Between the fourth and fifth series, all the show's models were remade in brass, and this original model was used to make moulds for additional copies of Thomas.

The model is painted in Thomas' iconic blue, red and black paint scheme, and is accompanied by an unattached resin face, produced as reference for Ertl die-cast toys. It features no wheels, wheel arches, buffers, funnel or dome. Some other elements are also missing, and much of the paintwork and detailing has worn away. Dimensions: 22 cm x 8 cm x 10 cm (8.75" x 3.25" x 4")
