A Police Chief Duncan Hopely (Daniel von Bargen) Doll made for the production of Tom Holland's horror film Thinner. Based on the novel by Stephen King, the film follows Billy Halleck (Robert John Burke) as he is cursed by the father of a woman he kills due to being reckless. Hopely is also cursed for his role in assisting Halleck avoid punishment. Dolls are seen at a gypsy carnival as the cursed Halleck seeks the man who cursed him.
This doll is made to resemble Hopely in his post-curse appearance as a leper. The head is custom sculpted, hand-painted, and cast in resin. The body was taken from a toy doll and is painted with red tones to match the deformed face of Hopely. Custom made police clothes complete the look of this ghastly doll. This doll shows some signs of wear, such as very light scratches in some areas, remains in overall great condition.
