A pair of hand-drawn pencil storyboards from John Carpenter's sci-fi horror The Thing. The storyboards show the scene in which MacReady (Kurt Russell) and Dr Copper (Richard Dysart) explored the ruins of the Norwegian camp. The storyboards are rendered in pencil with a description of the shot written underneath and are signed "Ploog". Comic book artist Mike Ploog worked as a production illustrator on the film and later worked on The Dark Crystal, Ghostbusters, and X-Men. The pages are hole-punched and have some minor edgewear and additional pencil markings. Dimensions (each): 21.5 cm x 28 cm (8.5" x 11")
