A pair of storyboards hand-drawn by Mike Ploog for John Carpenter's sci-fi horror film The Thing. One storyboard depicts the snowcat crashing through a wall, and the other depicts an explosion. The storyboards are rendered in pencil and one has handwritten text underneath which reads "The snow cat crashes thru - the walls of the long hall - Ploog". Comic book artist Mike Ploog worked as a production illustrator on the film and later worked on The Dark Crystal, Ghostbusters, and X-Men. The pages are hole punched and have some minor edgewear and additional pencil markings. Dimensions: (each) 8.5" x 11" (21.5 cm x 28 cm)
