A research team in Antarctica is pursued by a shape-shifting alien that can mimic the appearance of its victims in director John Carpenter's exceptional remake of the classic 1951 sci-fi thriller. This description refers to the first printing of the poster, which features Kurt Russell's name prominently on the second line at the far left. The poster was later reprinted with Russell's name on its own line to give it greater prominence. This example is rolled and includes the National Screen Service (NSS) paragraph in the center of the lower border and in the lower right corner. It is a very clean, unrestored example of the first printing of this popular poster designed by Drew Struzan.
