Special makeup effects line producer Erik Jensen's bound final draft screenplay from the production of John Carpenter's The Thing. The acclaimed screenplay was written by Bill Lancaster based on John W. Campbell Jr.'s story "Who Goes There." In 2025, the Library of Congress awarded permanent preservation in the National Film Registry to The Thing for its significance to American culture.

Utilized during production by Jensen while working with Rob Bottin's crew out of Universal Hartland, this 117-page, brass brad-bound final draft screenplay is printed on yellow and pink paper, dated July 28, 1981 on its red cardstock cover, and hand-marked for "E. Erik Jensen" on the first page. This script exhibits bending and worn material on the cover as well as minor staining. Dimensions: 8.5" x 11" x 0.75" (21.75 cm x 28 cm x 2 cm)
