This lot will be auctioned on Sunday, November 6th. A life-size display of The Simpsons sitting on their famous couch from the promotion of David Silverman's animated comedy The Simpsons Movie. A limited run of life-size statue displays were constructed for movie theatres, giving fans a chance to take their photo with all five Simpson family members.

The display comprises life-size fibreglass-and-plastic figures of the Simpsons sitting on a large sofa. The couch is made of wood covered in orange-coloured plastic with black-painted outlining and detailing. There is light damage to the tips of Bart Simpson's hair, signs of scuffing, and cracking on the plastic layer of the sofa, exposing the wood beneath in places. Dimensions: 100 cm x 263.5 cm x 190 cm (39 1/4" x 103 3/4" x 74 3/4")
