Andy Dufresne's (Time Robbins) screen-matched accountant desk from Frank Darabont's The Shawshank Redemption. Having worked as a banker on the outside, Dufresne helped his fellow prisoners with their educations and, eventually, the staff of Shawshank State Prison with their taxes. The wood grain of this desk, a circular scratch around the keyhole on the top right drawer, and distinctive markings on the right panel of the second-down right drawer screen-match to the wide shot of Dufresne opening the desk drawer while working on the taxes of the intramural baseball team. The film earned a total of seven Academy Award® nominations, including Best Picture, and was selected by the United States Library of Congress in 2015 to be preserved in the National Film Registry for being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."

This solid wood desk features a dark brown finish; a paneled desktop with tongue-and-groove connections between them; four drawers on either side and one central drawer, each with brass-color metal hardware including drawer pulls and locks; a three panel backing; and matching trim along the bottom. It exhibits scuffing and scratching throughout from use and age, and some of the panels have pulled apart slightly. Dimensions: 33" x 66" x 31" (84 cm x 167.75 cm x 78.75 cm)
