A Rocketeer reference maquette from the production of Joe Johnston's action-adventure film The Rocketeer. Cliff Secord (Bill Campbell) donned his rocket pack and helmet to become the Rocketeer. The flight scenes were created with a combination of stunt work, VFX, and stop-motion animation.

This hand-painted static resin maquette was created by Industrial Light & Magic's (ILM) model shop as a reference during effects meetings. It is cast around a metal rod inset into a white faux stone display base and features a removable resin helmet. A portion of the reverse where a jetpack was previously affixed remains unpainted, and several fingers have snapped off and been sympathetically restored since production. The maquette remains fragile from age, and should be handled with caution. Dimensions: 9" x 7" x 19.5" (23 cm x 18 cm x 49.25 cm)
