Stanley Goodspeed's (Nicolas Cage) "Guidance" computer chip with a VX "Pearl" from Michael Bay's The Rock. Rogue Marines led by Brigadier General Frank Hummel (Ed Harris) attempted to launch a missile filled with "pearls" of poisonous VX gas over San Francisco, but Dr. Stanley Goodspeed removed and broke its guidance chip.

A critical and box office sensation for director Bay, The Rock was the fourth-highest-grossing English-language film worldwide in 1996. It was nominated for an Academy Award® for Best Sound and was released as Spine #108 by the Criterion Collection, cementing it as a classic of modern American cinema.

This lot consists of a green plastic and metal circuit board chip with a blue Takamisawa relay, and a clear glass "pearl" contains the remnants of green aloe vera gel believed to be original from production. Most of the aloe has evaporated or leaked, and the glass exhibits fragility from age and exposure. It should be handled with caution. The chip exhibits minor wear from age, including scratches in the plastic. Dimensions: (largest) 1.5" x 1.25" x 1.8" (4 cm x 3.5 cm x 4.75 cm)
