Stanley Goodspeed's (Nicolas Cage) wallet-style FBI ID with a VX guard's access card from Michael Bay's The Rock. Frank Hummel's (Ed Harris) group of rogue Marines stole an access card from a guard during their heist of lethal VX gas from a US Navy facility. Later, FBI chemical weapons specialist Goodspeed flashed his wallet-style FBI ID when he caught up to the escaped John Patrick Mason (Sean Connery) and his estranged daughter, Jade Angelou (Claire Forlani).
The Rock grossed $25 million in its opening weekend, beating Mission: Impossible for the No. 1 spot. It was nominated for the Academy Award® for Best Sound, while stars Cage and Connery won the MTV Movie Award® for Best On-Screen Duo. The Rock is Spine #108 in the Criterion Collection, one of only two Michael Bay films to make it into the celebrated cinema collection so far.
This lot consists of a leather, wallet-style cardholder containing an FBI special agent card and "Chemical/Biological Division" FBI ID with a photograph of Goodspeed, as well as laminated slide card labeled "Chemical and Biological Weapons Storage Facility All Access."
