Jack's Lament and "Finale/Reprise" storyboard copies from Henry Selick's The Nightmare Before Christmas. Used by mold maker Erik Jensen, this lot consists of a black vinyl binder featuring the lyrics to "Jack's Lament" inserted in the front cover and a total of 48 printed storyboard copies of the sequence; and a pair of black foam boards featuring cut out printed storyboard images of the "Finale/Reprise" hand-highlighted in green and pink marker. Boards like this were posted at each animation setup as a reference for the stop motion animators. This lot exhibits notable loss of adhesion of the storyboards to the foam board. Dimensions: (largest) 20.5" x 15" x 1.5" (52 cm x 38.25 cm x 4 cm)
