A sentinel reference model miniature from the production of the Wachowskis' The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. After fighting to break into Zion in both films, hordes of sentinels fell from APU fire and a detonated EMP in Revolutions.
This squid-like sentinel originated from a crew member on both productions. Around eight total miniatures were created by the Miniature Unit for VFX and construction reference, then gifted to select crew following production. The sentinel features an ornately detailed cast resin head, plated tentacles inset with piping for structure, and jointed claws on its underside. It is painted metallic grey throughout to appear robotic and comes mounted near the head to a black display base inset with a plaque engraved "The Matrix Reloaded Revolutions."
This miniature exhibits scratching throughout its finish, some separation from the head and tentacles, and exposed metal from production use and age, while the base exhibits scuffing throughout. Dimensions: 71.25 cm x 20.5 cm x 20.5 cm (28" x 8" x 8")
