An early Max (Edward Herrmann) make-up study made for Joel Schumacher’s 1987 horror film The Lost Boys. In the film, two young brothers move to a new town and discover that the neighborhood has a serious vampire infestation. This piece was created as a reference to the make-up and is a more extreme than the make-up ultimately used in the film. Made of biscuit foam, this study was cast from Edward Herrmann’s face with his appliances attached, and is an early make-up study for Max’s vampire appearance. The early study has been painted to resemble pale skin tones with pink highlights, and is dressed in a grey fabric. This item shows minor wear due to production use and age, but remains in overall good condition. Dimensions: 16" x 8" x8" (40 cm x 20 cm x 20 cm)
