A David vampire appliance mold made for Kiefer Sutherland’s stunt double in Joel Schumacher’s 1987 horror film The Lost Boys. In the film, two young brothers move to a new town and discover that the neighborhood has a serious vampire infestation. This stone mold was used to produce vampire facial appliances and features two components: a shell that is sculpted for the vampire appliances and a core that fits inside the shell. The core is cast from Kiefer Sutherland’s stunt double, which fits inside the shell. Latex would then be poured into the mold, and once dried would fit perfectly to the actors face. Both components are labeled "David" and the mold also notes "1080 #8-2." This item shows some wear due to production use and age, with small breaks to the plaster, however it remains in overall good condition. Dimensions: 16" x 10" x8" (40 cm x 25 cm x 20 cm)
