Lewis Barnavelt's (Owen Vaccaro) modified Magic 8 Ball and dictionary with three Captain Midnight decoders from Eli Roth's The House with a Clock in Its Walls. Lewis carried his beloved Magic 8 Ball - a final gift from his late parents - along with his dictionary after moving in with his uncle Jonathan (Jack Black), using his dictionary to learn such inspiring words as "indomitable." Later, after evil warlock Isaac Izard (Kyle MacLachlan) came back to life, Lewis used a Captain Midnight decoder hidden inside his favored Ovaltine to help defeat him.

This lot consists of a black acrylic Magic 8 Ball shell specially modified by production for loading different answer cores for different shots; four Magic 8 Ball answer cores; two 20-sided Magic Ball answer dice; a suction cup for the Ball; a fabric-covered hardcover dictionary; 11 copies of the same page of the dictionary; three metal and plastic Captain Midnight decoders; and an empty glass Ovaltine jar. The 8 Ball exhibits scratches and is empty, and the decoders exhibit finish wear and chipping. Dimensions: (largest) 11.5" x 8.5" x 0.25" (29.25 cm x 21.75 cm x 0.75 cm)
