A Mirkwood elf bow from Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug with an officially-licensed replica of the Arrow of Tauriel. Tauriel (Evangeline Lilly) and the Mirkwood elves under her command wielded their Elven bows and arrows to fend off giant spiders besieging Thorin Oakenshield's (Richard Armitage) company and orcs attacking the dwarves.

This lot consists of a polyurethane bow cast and hand-painted to resemble wood as well as a detailed replica of one of Tauriel's signature arrows created by Weta Workshop. The bow originates from a crew member and features ornately detailed woodcut-style patterning on the limbs, a leather grip, and gold inlay around the grip.

The arrow is based directly on the production originals, which were created based on consultation between Lilly and the Weta prop team as representations of Tauriel's prowess. It is also painted to resemble wood with a gold-painted finish and red feather fletching. The bow exhibits imperfections in the limbs from casting, while the arrow exhibits bent fletching and discoloration. DImensions: (largest) 46" x 16" x 2" (117 cm x 40.75 cm x 5 cm)
