This is a silicone head of Zaphod Beeblebrox (Sam Rockwell) from the 2005 sci-fi film The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. The head was made for use throughout the film including the scene in which Beeblebrox reveals he has created an additional head when shutting off parts of his mind which have personality traits that are not presidential.
The silicone head, which is fitted over a hollow shell, features hand-punched long hair as well as facial hair, brown eyes, and even teeth, giving it a strikingly realistic look. The head measures approximately 8” x 7” (20cm x 18cm) with some small portions of the facial paint wearing off (see photos) but remains in overall good condition.
