Vito Corleone's (Robert De Niro) screen-matched revenge costume from Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather Part II. Pinstriping on the back of this costume screen-matches to when young Corleone exacted revenge on Don Ciccio (Giuseppe Sillato) for the murder of his father.

This pivotal costume was designed by Theadora Van Runkle, who received an Academy Award® nomination for her design work on the film. Widely recognized as one of the greatest movies of all time, The Godfather Part II received 10 additional Academy Award® nominations, including for Best Picture and for De Niro's now-classic performance as the rising Don Vito.

This costume consists of a brown pinstripe woollen Western Costume Co. jacket with olive-colour silk interior lining and a brown plastic button-front closure hand-marked "1920 WCC Suit 3PC G43" and "1920" by production, as well as matching trousers with a Western Costume Co. tag on the interior numbered "2931-1," labelled for De Niro with waist size "31" and inseam "31," and stamped "G 1920 43 3PC WCC." They are also hand-marked "Woodall," likely from use in a later production that rented the costume. The suit exhibits some colour fading from age, white staining on the jacket, and minor signs of fraying from production wear.
