Opening and closing title card set from Francis Ford Coppola's mafia drama The Godfather. Of note, the Paramount Gulf + Western title card first reportedly debuted in 1968's The Odd Couple.

This lot features two production-used coated cardstock paper cards used in The Godfather's final cut. The Paramount card features the printed logo and thicker typeface where curlicues are pronounced, and is mounted on a black cardstock. The Godfather card features an off-white printed logo on a black background. The lot exhibits tears, scuffing, edge wear, creasing, and residual tape residue. Dimensions: 22" x 14" x 0.25" (56 cm x 35.5 cm x 0.75 cm)
