Amos Burton first wore his coveralls when Fred Johnson outfitted their ship with gear bearing the fictional "Beratnas Gas" logo in the episode "Rock Bottom" (106). In the series opening episode "Dulcinea" (101), Amos carried his ID badge when performing his duties as a maintenance mechanic working under Naomi Nagata on the freighter Canterbury. He wore his devil pin from the start of the series on his various costumes until it was lost after he surrendered it to the UN Prison guard in the episode "Gaugamela" (504). In the series finale "Babylon's Ashes" (606), he received a custom made devil pin from Clarissa Mao to replace the one he lost when rescuing her on Earth.
This lot contains one pair of khaki zip up coveralls with the Beratnas Gas logo marked "hero" by production, one pair of faded black light-up boots, one pair of black gloves, one silver devil pin, one Canterbury employee ID card with photo of actor Wes Chatham labeled "Amos Burton" and "Maintenance" along with "Pur & Kleen" identifiers, one black gun holster labeled "Tachi", one knife holder, and one drill bit holder. This item is in good, production distressed condition.
Some lots in the auction contain electronic and/or mechanical components. While every effort is made to describe them accurately, no guarantee or warranty is made as to the functionality, lifespan or safety of those components. It is entirely incumbent on the new owner to satisfy themselves as to their safe use and maintenance.
For certain lots in the auction, including this one, a single photo has been used to represent the boots in multiple different auction lots that are extremely similar. The boots in this lot are nearly identical to the one pictured, though it may have minor differences in wear to the one photographed. All specific lots are available for in-person viewing at Propstore's offices by appointment.
Each lot is open for bidding for 14 days. If any bid is placed within the final five (5) minutes of the Auction Period, the Auction Period will automatically be extended by five (5) additional minutes. Please note that the timer may reflect that the remaining Auction Period is "0" but the Auction Period has not concluded because it has been extended by a bid made within the last five (5) minutes. It is the bidder's responsibility to refresh the page to determine whether the Auction Period has been extended. In any event, the Auction Period for any lot shall not be deemed completed until it states "Closed."
